Description
Ernest Walbourn Signed Print – The Fisherman’s Daughter
This large Ernest Walbourn signed print, entitled The Fisherman’s Daughter, presents a picturesque coastal scene in the romantic rural style for which the British artist is best known.
A young woman stands in the garden of a whitewashed thatched cottage, gently holding a cat in her arms. Flowers, foliage and rustic fencing frame the composition, while an open gate reveals the shoreline, a small boat and a sailing vessel in the distance. The carefully arranged setting creates a peaceful and nostalgic image of English country and coastal life.
